Microtechnology is a term given to smaller ducts and optical cables used in Internal and External network construction (ISP and OSP). Microducts were developed as a solution to house fiber cables that are smaller in size yet still contain a significant fiber count. Today, microcables range from 6 to 432 fibers. Microducts bundled under a single jacket are called FuturePath and provide multiple ducts within one structure for future network expansion.

By integrating microtechnology into MicroDucts and FuturePath, Dura-Line redefines industry standards. This represents a natural evolution of conventional conduits, responding to the challenge of optimizing network space, especially as new technologies tend to shrink in size. 1. Reduced Dimensions: Microtechnology-based MicroDucts feature outer diameters ranging from 5 mm to 27 mm, providing a precise fit for different applications.

3. Advanced Resistance: The conduits utilize a High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) standard for various installation applications, such as innerducts within existing underground conduits. HDPE is flexible and resilient, making it damage-resistant and suitable for wide temperature ranges.

4. Durability: Dura-Line microducts are manufactured with virgin raw materials, guaranteeing a lifespan of over 50 years.

5. Reduced Friction Coefficient: The internal surface of the product features SILICORE™ lined ribs that reduce the friction coefficient during cable installation. This lining remains unchanged throughout the product’s entire service life.

Microtechnology Pathways: Dura-Line manufactures various types and configurations of MicroDucts and FuturePath that can be used in a wide range of applications, including aerial, buried, and in-building.

2. FuturePath: Two or more MicroDucts bundled under a single jacket. FuturePath is offered in different sizes and configurations.
