Municipal school – Electronic Security

At the Milton Santos Municipal Early Childhood Education Center in Pinhais, Paraná (Brazil), security has become synonymous with tranquility and innovation. With the support of Dahua Technology, DCA, and Perkons, the unit has transformed into a national benchmark in intelligent school security, combining technology, integration, and artificial intelligence to protect students, educators, and families.

The Dahua Smart Education project was developed to offer real-time monitoring, advanced access control, and integrated communication with the Municipal Guard and security agencies, ensuring rapid responses and greater efficiency in protecting the school environment.

Among the implemented solutions, the following stand out:

• Cameras with license plate recognition (LPR) and facial recognition;
• Panoramic cameras with metadata and intrusion detection;
• Speakers with automatic audible alerts;
• Smart turnstiles and facial access control in classrooms;
• Bodycams with panic button for educators;
• Full integration via MPS and CCO Net software, centralizing the management and monitoring of incidents.

The result is a safer, more efficient, and connected environment, where technology acts as an ally in teaching and social interaction.
