With the inauguration of its new headquarters in Guarulhos – SP, Braspress launched Planeta Azul, considered the largest logistics hub in Brazil, with 230,000 m² of total area and a sorter capable of processing 15,000 packages per hour. To support this operation, the company invested in a modern Data Center and a fully optical network infrastructure based on Lightera’s Laserway technology.
The project included approximately 1,200 network points and 202 surveillance cameras, providing full support for IP telephony, access control, time tracking systems, corporate TV, data collection, corporate Wi-Fi, and operational automation. The choice of Laserway was strategic: its ability to handle high volumes of data and video traffic surpasses conventional Ethernet networks, delivering performance, scalability, and reliability for critical operations.
The GPON network eliminated the need for multiple access and distribution switches, reducing costs related to maintenance, cooling systems, and technical rooms. With single-mode fiber and transmission capacity of up to 101 Tb/s, the infrastructure ensures high performance, reliability, and flexibility—allowing the hub to grow and adapt to future demands.
The solution enabled Braspress to operate with efficiency, integration, and future readiness, positioning Planeta Azul as a benchmark in logistics and technological innovation.
