The city of Tarumã, São Paulo (Brazil), has received a significant boost in connectivity for its entire population. With the goal of providing free, high-quality internet, over 120 Zyxel Access Points were installed, ensuring broad coverage in virtually all public spaces throughout the city.
To enhance communication and interaction between the city government and the community, the WISPOT intelligent Wi-Fi tool was implemented. This tool allows for detailed monitoring of data traffic and conducts segmented surveys by region or user profile. This solution makes it possible to better understand the needs of the population, promoting more efficient and assertive public management.
More than just connecting devices, the project transforms network infrastructure into a tool for improving quality of life, bringing people closer together, transmitting information quickly and reliably, and strengthening the city’s digital presence. The initiative demonstrates how technology and innovation can have a direct impact on people’s lives, promoting access, inclusion, and local development.
