The Federation of Commerce of the State of Rio Grande do Sul underwent a complete technological modernization, ensuring efficiency, security, and reliability in its internal processes and public services. High-performance structured networks were implemented, connecting administrative offices, auditoriums, and service areas with stability and scalability.
The project included the deployment of Lightera’s Laserway solution, a future-ready technology designed to adapt to evolving demands for decades. With high performance and reliability, the optical network enables fast data transmission, efficient system integration, simplified maintenance, and long-term cost savings—making the infrastructure more agile and secure while reducing the risk of obsolescence.
Additionally, as a fully centralized and automated solution, the network minimizes dependency on electrical components for data transmission, contributing to energy efficiency and simplifying network expansion processes. The reduced weight and space requirements of optical infrastructure improve physical space utilization, allowing fewer technical rooms and enabling new infrastructure demands.
