With the rapid growth of port operations in southern Brazil, a regional company required a high-performance monitoring and connectivity infrastructure capable of supporting port and retroport logistics with security, efficiency, and reliability. DCA participated as both distributor and integrator, delivering structured cabling, electronic security, and networking equipment specifically designed for large-scale and mission-critical environments.
The project included 140 intelligent cameras, 40 of which were installed in explosion-proof enclosures with NEMA 4X maritime protection—ideal for offshore, coastal, and high-humidity environments—ensuring equipment and data protection even under extreme conditions. Additionally, 350 optical and copper network points (Lightera) were implemented, along with industrial PoE switches capable of supporting continuous and secure operation.
With these solutions, the company achieved centralized monitoring, reliable data storage, and full operational control, fully compliant with international standards such as the ISPS Code. The integration of technologies delivered greater agility, security, and reliability, strengthening the management of one of the country’s most strategic ports and preparing the operation for future growth.
