Decathlon Brazil upgraded its communication infrastructure nationwide with support from DCA and integrator Mellvi. The project included the administrative headquarters in São Paulo, the distribution center in Embu das Artes, and a pilot store, with plans for replication across all stores in the South and Southeast regions.
The initial challenge arose from an emergency caused by flooding, which required immediate cabling upgrades at the headquarters. This situation evolved into a complete technological migration, including structured cabling upgrades, IP connectivity, and network standardization—ensuring greater robustness, scalability, and reliability across the entire Brazilian operation.
According to DCA, the project’s success was driven by the integrator’s flexibility, strong team collaboration, and advanced logistics capabilities, enabling the project to adapt to constant scope changes. The result is a modern, scalable, and standardized infrastructure that supports Decathlon’s expansion in Brazil and establishes a replicable model for all its stores nationwide.
